EP: Hearing on mobbing and sexual harassment

The Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality will organise a hearing on "Measures to prevent and combat mobbing and sexual harassment at workplace, in public spaces, and political life in the EU".

The hearing serves as an opportunity to provide input for the own initiative report on the same topic, on which the Committee will work in 2018 (Rapporteur: Pina Picierno, S&D, Italy). The invited experts will share their views and propose practical solutions for counteracting mobbing and sexual harassment. The hearing will count on the presence of Brigitte Filion (Programme Officer, Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU)), Irene Zeilinger (Executive Director, Garance ASBL), Fabrizia Giuliani (Member of the Chamber of Deputies, Italy), Cinzia Sechi (Advisor, European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC)), Rossana Dinamarca (Member of Parliament, Sweden).
