Feminist Lab 2019: Women in public space

The Feminist Lab is a three-day process that brings young women* (18 – 30 years) together to share ideas and experiences, to expand skills and to find concrete solutions for the issues they face in their daily lives. The program is built in a way that invites for active participation and co-creation. That means: a lot of discussing, listening and participating in workshops and – if you would like – offering a workshop yourself or bringing a topic to the table.

For this edition we intend to address the following question: “What does it mean to be a woman* in public space?”. We’ll try to define WHAT obstacles we face in public space, HOW we can tackle those and then actually DO something.

The Fem Lab is facilitated by Juliette Sanchez-Lambert & Maaike Boumans and is a safe space where all voices are equally important. We will NOT tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism or any other sort of discriminatory behavior.
