In 2024, Amazone and Université des Femmes joined forces to establish the Resource Centre for Feminism and Gender (CRFG). The centre, which brings together the collections of Amazone’s documentation centre and the Université des Femmes’ Léonie de la Fontaine Library, houses both physical and digital resources on feminism, gender equality, and women’s history. The resource centre receives financial support from the Institute for the Equality of Women and Men and is part of a broader collaboration with RoSa, a non-profit organisation specialising in documentation on feminism and gender equality.

The CRFG maintains an online catalogue that provides access to a comprehensive collection of documents produced by public authorities and women’s organisations, including reports, analyses, brochures, and statistics. The collection reflects the evolution of political debates on gender issues and the development of equal opportunities policies in Belgium. Interested users can consult the database and, if desired, make an appointment to visit the library. Amazone’s website also regularly publishes articles on current feminist topics, accompanied by useful references and additional information.

As a knowledge centre specialising in gender and feminism, RoSa offers an extensive physical and digital collection on gender equality. You can consult its online catalogue here.

Are you looking for older documents on gender equality? The Archive and Research Centre for Women’s History also houses its collection at the Amazone House. You can access its online database through this link or make an appointment to consult the collection via their website.
