On May 15th 2025, Amazone celebrates its 30th anniversary. Three decades dedicated to feminism, solidarity, networking, and fighting for gender equality. This anniversary marks much more than just a number: it’s the story of a space that thrives thanks to collective commitment.
Since 1995, hundreds of projects, associations and activists have found in Amazone a place to organize, meet, create, reflect, and take action. A shared home where we fight collectively for the rights of women and FINTA people.
Today, we want to say thank you.
Thank you to everyone who, over the past 30 years, has brought this house to life:
to the resident and partner associations,
to both longstanding and visiting partners,
to the dedicated volunteers,
to institutional collaborators and allies from all walks of life.
Your energy, your ideas, and your trust are the driving force behind Amazone.
At a time when the current political climate threatens the rights we fight for, this house must remain more than ever a place of resistance, shared resources, and concrete solidarity.
This 30th anniversary is both a celebration and a new beginning.
Together, let’s continue to bring this space to life for the years to come.
