Amazone is itself a member of various platforms and is listed on a number of sites, all of which are concerned with gender equality and the prevention of discrimination and violence against women and gender minorities.


Mirabal‘s mission and general objective is to organize the national event on November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, in order to promote and raise awareness of the issue. As a member of Mirabal, Amazone contributes to the organization of the annual event and participates in preparatory meetings.

Amazone is listed on Equal.brussels’ new website – ‘Stop-violence’ –, which centralizes all useful information and services for people confronted with gender-based violence, their families and the professionals who support them. Our association is listed as a first contact and information service.

Our association and its restaurant are also listed on the Fat friendly website, an association fighting grossophobia that maps out the accessibility of spaces for fat people in Belgium and encourages them to take over the public space.
