Feminist Days 2026 : Gender and Health

Did you know women and gender minorities are particularly affected by inequalities in healthcare? They face numerous structural barriers to accessing care, often linked to precarious living conditions, mental load, and a lack of time to look after their own health.

These inequalities persist within the medical system itself, where gender bias manifests at every stage — from research to diagnosis and treatment. Insufficient knowledge about specific healthcare needs, the invisibility of certain symptoms, and gender-related stereotypes all have a direct impact on their physical and mental health.

It is therefore essential to bring these realities to light and to create spaces for meeting and collective reflection where knowledge and experiences can be shared.

That’s why this year’s 5th edition of the Feminist days, organised by Amazone, is dedicated to the theme “Gender and Health”. The festival serves as a space for connection, mobilisation, and celebration, inviting you to explore the links between gender and health through a range of workshops, talks, panel discussions, screenings, and performances.

On the programme: gender bias in research and medicine, motherhood in exile, the realities of intersex people, the fight against ableism, fatphobia, menstruation and endometriosis, mental health and burnout, and the wellbeing of body and voice… All complemented by festive evenings featuring feminist slam poetry, stand-up, Drag Bingo, burlesque, and a DJ set!
