VISIBLE EXPO (Natacha de Locht)

On the occasion of Amazone’s Feminist days, VISIBLE EXPO opens its doors and will be on view for a month in Amazone’s spaces.

VISIBLE EXPO invites us to look beyond appearances and to question the representations that shape the way we see ourselves and others.

Through a series of paintings on mirrors inspired by street art techniques, Natacha de Locht stages emblematic figures drawn from art history, popular culture, and contemporary narratives, alongside anonymous individuals, inviting everyone to recognize themselves, project themselves, and become the subject of their own story. The mirrors carry universal messages, as well as affirmations from the body positive movement.

The exhibition also features Natacha’s clitoris sculptures. Both playful and assertive, they extend this reflection by giving visible space to a body part long rendered invisible in artistic, cultural, and medical representations. Here, the clitoris becomes a true icon: a symbol of knowledge, pleasure, freedom, and the reclaiming of bodies.

VISIBLE EXPO explores what exists beyond what we see: our bodies, our stories, and our identities. An invitation to rethink visibility, celebrate the diversity of experiences, and affirm everyone’s right to be fully recognized.
